- 01What do I actually pay for?
- Cloud scale and team features: more governed agents, more approver seats, longer retention, and tier-gated extras like policy packs and the auditor evidence pack. The proof itself never costs more. Every plan signs every action, verifies offline, and keeps the full local audit trail, uncapped.
- 02What happens when I hit my monthly receipt quota?
- Signing never stops. The local chain keeps running no matter what. On Free, the cloud mirror hard-caps at the included monthly limit and pauses until the next period, with no overage charge and no surprise bill. On Pro and Team, the mirror keeps going and usage above the included quota is billed at the per-1,000 rate on your card. A runaway ceiling applies, so the mirror returns 402 past it, but your agents and local audit trail keep working. See the rate card above for the exact figures.
- 03What counts as a governed agent?
- One signing identity and policy scope, not a concurrency limit. A single agent can fire as many actions as your rate limit allows, and you are billed per identity you govern, not per request.
- 04Can my customers approve an action without a heso account?
- Yes. Embed a gate and an end user co-signs the action right from your app, with a key held on their device. It’s heso-branded on every plan, and themed and unbranded on Team. See client approvals.
- 05What do auditors get?
- On Team you can export an auditor evidence pack: a signed, offline-verifiable bundle an auditor opens without any heso access. The EU’s obligations for logging what AI agents do phase in from 2026, but a hash-chained history can’t be backfilled, so the durable record has to start now.
- 06When should I talk to you instead of self-serving?
